Nature's oldest trick. Freshly bottled.
We're deep in the ferment right now, real pineapple, wild fermentation, nothing rushed. Inspired by traditional Mexican tepache. Still tasting, tweaking, and getting it right before it's ready for you.
Who We Are
-
We started paying attention to gut health, like a lot of people have these past few years. The more we looked into it, the more we noticed something: this isn't new. Cultures all over the world have fermented food and drink for generations, long before anyone called it a wellness trend.
Tepache is one of those traditions. Wild-fermented pineapple, made in Mexico for generations, rooted in Nahua heritage.
We came across it as university students at Monash, curious about fermentation and how little of it we'd actually grown up trying in Australia. That curiosity became Tepe Co. Tepache is our first drink. It won't be our last.

Waste nothing worth celebrating. We brew with pineapple peel and core, the parts most people throw out.
Honour the origin. Tepache has been made in Mexico for generations, rooted in Nahua tradition. We're carrying that story forward, not claiming it as ours.
Celebrate the process. Wild fermentation can't be rushed. We let time do the work.
Nature knows best. Real pineapple, nothing artificial. Fermentation handles the rest.
Bring joy to the everyday. Fermentation has always brought people together. We're just adding a little fizz to that.

We didn't invent tepache. We brought it here, made the way it's always been made.
Inspired by traditional Mexican tepache, this is real pineapple transformed through wild fermentation into something bright, refreshing and full of character. Made with pineapple, cane sugar and cinnamon, nothing else.
